QA Engineer / tester

Requirements

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Familiarity with different types of testing (system integration, regression, functional, unit, performance, etc.) and an ability to plan/execute accordingly
• Experience writing test cases from functional specs
• Experience with Selenium or similar automation testing tools.
• Strong knowledge of documenting defects and tracking issue resolution
• Solid interpersonal and communication skills

PERSONAL SKILLS & ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS

• Candidates must have the ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently
• Must possess a disciplined approach and commitment to delivering on Service Level Agreements (SLA’s)
• Strong analytical approach to problem solving and solution development
• Implementation and support experience is highly preferred
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field is preferred
• Ability to effectively work in a team where other team members may be located throughout the world
• Self-starter with the ability to independently resolve issues and deliver results
• Friendly attitude, strong communication and relationship building skills
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Ability to travel

Responsibilities

• Test developments from 3 development teams across the globe
• Collaborate with other technical team members to quickly troubleshoot and resolve any critical issues
• Stay in-tune with the latest technologies; proactively identify areas for improvement and propose viable solutions
• Determining the operational environment for new applications / solutions
• Contributing to the development of and aligning to the IT corporate standards
